Good afternoon all,

We are all still trucking along. Many are currently sick with colds/sore throats, but we are still out and about and trucking along. Other than that there is not serious illness. Some have had parasites or amoebas but they seem to be taken care of. Students are tired, but that is okay.

Last week half the group (Brian, Bae, Jesse, Luke, Derek, Josh, Sarah, Marieke, Makayla, Ashley, Rebecca, Lara and Riley) spent four days and three nights living with a Dominican family. This past week the other half (Kari, Shelby, Joey, Rachel, Lauren, Emily, Hannah, Julianna, Alexa, Jason, Billy, Daniel and Shane) had this same opportunity. Last weekend we all reunited at a camp for a youth retreat with Dominican youth. Fun was had by all; there was a roller coaster, relay race, scavenger hunt, pool, bonfire and talent/fashion show.

Over the past week we have crossed paths multiple times with the choir/a section of the choir from Hamilton District Christian High School as they are here on a music mission trip.

Tomorrow we should head to the orphanage for the second time, Saturday we should head to Inas village for the first time and Sunday should be a regular Sunday. What are the plans for next week you ask? Not sure yet but, ¨well figure it out!¨

Internet is again nonexistant at our base so I apologize for the blandness of this update.
